There are many good things about the month of September, but one of our most favourite things is the annual Feast of Dorset. Held on the grounds of Deans Court, Wimborne’s historic 11 Century house, this year’s festival attracted almost 5,000 visitors as well as several big names in the food industry such as The Telegraph’s food writer and journalist Rose Prince, Cook and best-selling author Fran Warde and TV chef Lesley Waters. Activities at the two day event included ferret racing, chocolate making workshops, foraging and lots and lots of tasting!
