WHEN it comes to shoot locations, we’ve filmed in a lot of places, but we’d never filmed in a recycling centre – until we were asked to film at TQ Recycling!
We visited the £1.4m recycling plant for a day to capture the operational processes involved and to hear what David Newman, TQ Recycling’s Managing Director, had to say about the assistance the business receives from the Manufacturing Advisory Service South West.
Located at Torr Quarry, Kingsbridge, TQ Recycling is one the South West’s leading waste management, waste collection and waste disposal companies. The plant uses a laser to scan materials and a jet stream of air to separate the waste into different types of plastics, paper, cans, and other materials which are then baled and sold to companies that re-use the waste.
