WITH CT scanning equipment, new engine test facilities, optical and laser microscopy, a specialist composite lab for composite materials design and manufacture, and wind tunnel (not to mention all the thermo dynamic rigs and rapid prototyping equipment among other fancy gear) there was stacks to film for the Mechanical Engineering promotional film for Plymouth University’s School of Marine Science and Engineering.

We filmed a chat with a third year student as well as Associate Professor and Deputy Head of School Stephen Grove before heading to the labs to film the facilities and students in action. Following that it was a quick turnaround in the edit to deliver the film to the Faculty of Science and Technology’s marketing department for their marketing campaign.
