Muddy Boots Real Foods Ltd was set up in 2008 by Roland and Miranda Ballard with the simple aim of promoting quality food and ethical farming. They begun their campaign with the rather daunting task of reinventing the burger, transforming it from its reputation as a fat and greasy food villain to a nutritious, versatile and convenient meal option for the home kitchen. In practical terms, this means that they use all the really good cuts of the beef to make their burgers (not just the leftover trim) and that their burgers contain only top quality, fully traceable meat and have absolutely no additives, preservatives or nasties. In short, they think the burger deserves to be celebrated. So we made a video recipe to do just that!
The video recipe stars Muddy Boot’s Classic Burgers and Mr Singh’s Hot Punjabi Chilli Sauce which combine together to make incredibly tasty Hot Chilli Boots Burgers. The hardest part of the whole process was being disciplined enough to not eat the burgers before we’d finished filming them!
